About
Teeter inversion products set the industry standard in designing and manufacturing durable, high-quality, non-invasive back and health equipment. From home-use to clinical and commercial fitness equipment, Teeter specializes in inversion equipment to distribute across North America and all over the world.
History
Teeter began manufacturing inversion products in 1981 under the Hang Ups name, making it the longest continuous supplier of inversion products in the world. Beginning with gravity boots and one type of inversion table, Teeter has expanded the product line to over twenty-five inversion products across home-use, commercial and clinical markets. The company is recognized internationally for its high manufacturing standards in structural integrity, and its dedication to user satisfaction and education.
Distribution
Teeter home-use inversion products are distributed through a network of internet, local and big box retailers. Our products are also presented on HSN in the U.S. and The Shopping Channel in Canada at various times of the year. Additionally, Teeter engages in various direct-to-consumer programs via television, radio and print.
Commercial and medical products are sold directly to fitness facilities and clinics through Teeter as well as a select group of distributors.
Internationally, Teeter Hang Ups and Teeter products are promoted across the globe by independant affiliate, Inversion International, Inc. through a network of authorized distributors and direct-to-consumer campaigns.
Manufacturing
Teeter's proprietary design features and materials quality standards culminate in products that are engineered for long-term structural integrity and ease of use. We strive to set the standard in the industry by incorporating unique and patented features into our equipment. Teeter voluntarily submits to stringent product testing and independent engineering evaluations to ensure quality control and to back our claims that Teeter inversion products are superior to any other inversion product on the market.
Every inversion table has been listed or classified by Underwriter Laboratories, an independent testing facility. For example, the manually-operated inversion tables are voluntarily submitted to the rigorous specifications for UL 60601-1, a standard for medical equipment for use in a clinical setting and the toughest specification available for this type of equipment. Our motor-operated inversion tables are listed to the same UL standard for other electrical fitness equipment.
Teeter's factories in Taiwan, China, Korea and Thailand adhere to the highest quality standards and we rely on a trusted community of suppliers to provide cost-effective and timely support that we pass on to our customers.
